Great interview from David Ogilvy, compelling from the first sentence. A ton has changed since this interview, but there are still great ideas to take from it.

It’s awesome to see that Pogo finally get tapped to do a movie promotion. I was just thinking the other day how cool a song by him using the sound of coke and coke machines would be .
Then he and Pixar release this gem. Pretty sweet I think.

The only thing that pisses me off about this article, and the site, is that I didn’t do it.
It is pure, unadulterated brilliance.

Cecillia Gorman doesn’t post very often on her blog. But when she does it’s good.
Damn good.
Similar to many of the other blogs I read she does not coddle the reader. She writes for people who want to get into the business and tells you more or less what it takes. A fellow copywriter in Des Moines suggested this blog when I was putting together my first book. It definitely elevated my work and understanding of what to do.
One of the common themes of this blog is personality and talent speak louder glitz. Finding the best way to get you across in your book can be just as important as the work within.
